There are two principle things that mark serious models out from the crowd.

1. A high quality portfolio. Paying for a portfolio will save you months over

gradually building a portfolio with high quality images from free shoots.

2. A high quality portfolio website. Remember, it's there as a marketing tool, that

you can update potentially quicker than any agency will with your new images.

 

If you're interested in a model portfolio website, there are 3 charges.

1. Buying the domain name from as little as £5.90 for 2 yrs with a .co.uk domain.

2. Hosting fee, this is a monthly or annual fee, effectively renting space on a server

from where your site can be visited by the world.

3. The design fee which will vary, depending on the site complexity.

For a portfolio site you should concentrate on keeping the layout professional and simple to navigate.

 

For my sites, you buy and register the domain, so the details stay with you,

allowing you to extend the registration when it becomes due. I charge a hosting fee of £30 for the year and

provide 16 Mb of disc space for the website and 1.2 Gb of bandwidth per month. I am offering portfolio website

design at the reduced price of £200 till the end of September 2007. All art work is designed for you but the

layout will loosely follow that of the examples below.
